Dr. Kavanagh was born in Vancouver and enjoyed life in a family with many pets and eventually a horse. After graduating from University of Saskatchewan (W.C.V.M.) in 1982,
she worked in a small animal practice in Ontario for 2 years and returned to B.C. to work 4 years in Langley and Vancouver.

Emily is a loving wife with two other companions in her life – her princess Uma, the cat; and her boy, Pigglet, the dog. She was born in Taiwan and came to Canada when she was little, but she was fortunate enough to keep her mother tongue, Taiwanese and Mandarin.

Justine, RAHT
Ever since she was little she has had a love of animals. This love inspired her to go to school and become an Animal Health Technologist.
After two long years at school she is finally doing what she loves. Justine shares her home with Milo an orange and white tabby cat and Cosmo a Sheppard cross.
Cecil is her horse but he doesn’t fit in the back yard so he lives on a farm in Pitt Meadows.

Rhonda was born in Trail BC and grew up in Nelson, one of the most beautiful parts of British Columbia. Growing up, her family always had pets.
Mainly a dog (or two) but has also had cats, hamsters, a gerbil, birds and fish. From a very young age she has always had a passion and strong interest in animals.

Shelly is a married mother of two who grew up on the west side of Vancouver. Eight years ago Shelly and her family bought a house in the Steveston area of Richmond.
They currently share it with two Border Collies; Sasha and Nick, a kitten named Sylvie, and many feathered friends.
